Rationale for Module	The module is an opportunity for students to develop and improve their powers of expression, judgement and social competence in relation to the variety of situations they face in private, public and especially professional life. Students learn to express their own ideas and wishes, orally and in writing, in an appropriately professional manner and to evaluate the views of others critically but in an open-minded and nonprejudicial way. The module includes seminars and workshops on self-reflection and job applications. Teaching and learning is student-centred, involving individual and group presentations.
