Auslandssemester
With
its international character and structure, the study programme at the HIB offers
students the opportunity to complete part of their studies abroad. The HIB has a
network of partner institutes of higher education. Under the cooperation
agreement the credits gained are mutually recognized, provided you have achieved
the required standard. You can for example in the course of your studies take
advantage of the “mobility window” provided in order to spend one or two
semesters of your studies abroad without losing any time. The study programmes
of the partner institutions offer you an exciting opportunity to work together
with students and lecturers from all over the world in an international
environment.

The
contact persons from our partner institutions visit the HIB to brief you on the
study programmes they offer and on the study environment. This means you have
all the information you need about studying at the partner institution before
your semester abroad even begins. You may of course choose to spend your
semester abroad at a university of your choice. At the HIB you do a British
degree programme. It is highly compatible with the national higher education
systems in the USA, Spain, France and in the Arab and Asian countries. This
makes it easier for you to study at the host university.
